谷口ナツコ

旭川生まれ。東川町在住。

90年代後半より独学で制作を始め
2000年頃から東京での個展や海外でのグループ展を中心に作品を発表。

自作の道具と独自の技法で絵の具を絞り出しながら描き、
画面上のすべての線や点が盛り上がった巨大な作品を制作。

今回、地元北海道では初の個展。念願だった北海道での大作品の展示。

旧作ではあるが幅５mの大きな半立体の作品を中心に、近作と新作も展示する。

Natsuko Taniguchi

Born in Asahikawa and lives in Higashikawa town, Hokkaido.

Having started creation in her own method since the late ’90s,

she had private exhibitions in Tokyo and group exhibitions abroad in ’00s.

She creates gigantic works with her own technique and self-made tool to squeeze paints out,

making all lines and dots look embossed.

This is the first private exhibition in her homeland Hokkaido,

which she has always dreamed of.

Starring her 5 meters wide semi-solid old work,

this exhibition displays her recent and brand-new works as well.
